Team Work Skills "Leadership determines the direction of the company, organisation determines the potential of a company and personnel determines the success of the company." These workshops teach new ways of working within a team, and look closely at problem solving and conflict resolution. We focus on active learning and challenge teams to adopt more productive behaviours. Our programmes are suitable for established or for new teams and are available as one-off workshops or as a more in-depth training course. Communication Skills "Out of clutter, find simplicity." Good communication is critical to effective teamwork and to the success of any relationship. Communicating is far more than talking and listening. It is sometimes a complex and puzzling process. However, effective communication is possible with the right approach, techniques and some practice. Our workshops highlight the importance of good communication, both verbal and non-verbal. We use role-play as a tool to explore assertiveness, negotiation and dealing with diversity. Presentation Skills "Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly!" In today's working world we are regularly called upon to write and make presentations. Many of our clients inform us that they "dread" the idea of standing in front of a room full of people and speaking. The rules for successful written communications also apply to oral presentations - prepare, practice and then practice again! Our workshops focus on vocal and physical presence. The most important skill to learn is how to read your audience. Understanding the needs of your audience and being sensitive to those needs will make you credible and professional. Interview Skills "Opportunity dances with those who are already on the dance floor!" This programme is suitable for second and third level students as well anyone who would like to brush up on their interview skills. The workshops aim to prepare participants for interviews within their field as well as on a broader scale. We focus on verbal and non-verbal communication, as well as on how to create an overall good impression on perspective employers. Using role-play and improvisation participants learn effectively how to create opportunities for themselves in the workplace. Leadership Programmes "Managers do things right, while leaders do the right thing" A manager rules but a leader is followed. This programme emphasises the importance of vision and true leadership. It will demonstrate how to identify and cultivate leadership qualities and will help participants to realise their full potential.
